This Ethernet Adapter Cable is required if you want to network (Ethernet) capabilities on a Helix 9 Series, Helix 10 Series, Helix 12 Chirp Series, 7 x 8 HD Series, 8 x 9ci HD Series, 9 x 9ci HD Series, 11 x 9ci HD Series Humminbird product. This cable is approximately 12" long.
If you are networking two of these products, you will require two AS EC QDE cables plus one of the Ethernet cables.
If you are networking one Helix 9 Series, Helix 10 Series, Helix 12 Chirp Series, 7 x 8 HD Series, 8 x 9ci HD Series, 9 x 9ci HD Series, or 11 x 9ci HD Series product with a pre-2014 8 x 8, 9 x 8 or 11 x 8 Series product, you will only need one adapter plus one Ethernet cable.
Software updates on some 7 x 8 HD and some 8 x 8c, 9 x 8c and 11 x 8c Series products may also be necessary.
